| About me |
My name is Brian Morrison.
I began drawing caricatures at primary school. Mostly of the teachers. I didn't work professionally until 2002. My work takes me around the country, and occasionally down south.

I enjoy working at functions. I get the opportunity to visit and sample some fantastic venues. Meeting the people is also an important part of my work. I love the atmosphere. It's a pleasure to be part of these occasions, whether it is a corporate function or a birthday party. Well known personalities that I have had the pleasure of meeting and capturing on paper include; Sir Jimmy Saville, John Leslie, Martin O'Neill, Frank Carson & Neil Lennon.
The style that I use at functions is, capturing the image of someone, (Always a volunteer) on A4 art paper. I use a soft pencil, and the picture is finished in roughly 3 minutes. I also accept commissions for more detailed coloured caricatures. These are framed and ready to hang on the wall.

The Silhouette cutting is a new art form that I am really excited about. I say new, but, the art of silhouette cutting has been around since the nineteenth century. It is a classic art form. Very French and very exquisite. Your guest's profiles are quickly cut, freehand on black art paper, then mounted on the spot for a truely memorable souvenir.
